Rental and cloakroom returns will take place at Theog on the way back to Shimla. If you are not opting for Indiahikes Transport, you still need to come to Theog to collect your cloakroom or return your rental items.
Transport from Barua to Shimla will be arranged to start at 1.00 PM. You will reach Shimla around 10.30 pm. The cost of cab will be Rs 2100 per trekker (additional 5% GST) for the transfer from Barua to Shimla. These are non-AC SUV vehicles.
Please note: The distance between campsites may vary by 100 meters depending on weather conditions and your route. The altitude may also vary by 100 feet for similar reasons.
This depends completely on the weather conditions on the trek and the call will be taken by the trek leader.
If the buffer day is used, you have to pay us Rs. 2,500 per day (INR) +5% GST. The money will be collected by the Trek Leader only if we use the buffer day.

Yes, if you are really fit. Buran Ghati is a moderate-difficult trek. For this, you ideally need prior high-altitude trek experience. That will help you enjoy the trek better. But you can attempt Buran Ghati as your first trek if you have a strict fitness routine. To ensure this, your Experience Coordinator will request a fitness screenshot after you register for the trek.

The best time to undertake the Buran Ghati trek is during summer (May to June) and autumn (September to October)when the weather is pleasant and the trails are clear.

Yes, permits from the Himachal Pradesh Forest Department are required. These are generally arranged by the trekking organizers.
Essentials include thermal layers, a good-quality trekking jacket, waterproof gear, trekking shoes, a sleeping bag, and personal medication. Also, carry energy snacks and hydration packs.

Urban Trekkers and its organizers strictly prohibit the use of narcotics and banned substances during the tours. The management will not be held responsible for any adverse consequences resulting from the same.
Weapons, fireworks, and toxic substances are not permitted on the tour. Management is not liable for any individual found guilty under Indian law.
The organizers reserve the right to evict any participant without a refund if their actions violate camp rules or if they misbehave with fellow travelers.
Urban Trekkers is not responsible for your safety or whereabouts if you are outside the designated campsite area.
Any loss or damage to camping materials such as tents, pillows, mattresses, or other campsite property will be charged at full MRP.
Urban Trekkers is not liable for loss or damage to any personal belongings of travelers.
All participants are required to carry a valid government-issued ID.
Only registered campers with Urban Trekkers will be allowed entry to the campsite. Guests from outside are not permitted unless pre-approved by the organizers.
Availability of hot water is not guaranteed at the campsite.
Campsite slots will be confirmed only after full payment is received.
The management assumes no responsibility for injuries or loss/theft of personal property during the tour.
In the event of vehicle breakdowns, travelers will have to wait for repairs. No backup transport will be provided.
Urban Trekkers is not responsible for delays or changes in the itinerary due to natural disasters, accidents, weather conditions, landslides, political closures, or any unforeseen circumstances.
Delays in reaching destinations due to traffic or other external factors may result in the cancellation of scheduled activities. No refunds or compensation will be provided for missed experiences.
The trip organizer/coordinator reserves the right to modify the itinerary based on on-ground conditions.

Liability Clause: If Urban Trekkers needs to alter your booked tour after confirmation, you may either accept the revised plan or choose an alternative offered by the company. In either case, no compensation will be provided for damages, additional costs, or other losses. If a particular tour is cancelled, the company may offer an alternative. No claims regarding this will be entertained later.
