  • GST (5%): The Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 5% is an additional charge and will be applied on top of the total cost.
  • Food & Beverages Not Included: Any food or drinks outside the package (e.g., alcoholic beverages, mineral water, meals on the highway) are the customer's responsibility.
  • Personal Expenses: Customers should cover their own personal expenses, including tips for drivers, entrance fees to monuments/monasteries, and any additional activities (like river rafting or laundry).
  • Unexpected Costs Due to Natural Events: If any natural disasters (e.g., landslides, roadblocks) occur, any extra costs incurred would need to be paid directly by the customer.
  • Anything Not Listed in Inclusions: If something is not explicitly mentioned as being part of the package, it won’t be covered.
  • Paragliding in Bir, River Rafting at Kullu, Early check-in at the hotel.
  • Any Entry tickets at exploration sites.

Travel Itinerary

DAY 0 - DELHI TO DHARAMSHALA: Report at Majnu Ka Tilla at 06:00 PM

  • We depart from Delhi around 9:30 PM in an AC Vehicle. (Know the true value of time; snatch, seize, and enjoy every moment of it.)
  • Pit stop for dinner at any decent roadside restaurant.

DAY 1 - DHARAMSHALA TO MCLEODGANJ:

  • Arrive in Dharamshala and visit Dharamshala Cricket Stadium
  • Check-in at our Hotel and freshen up.
  • Later proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of St John in the Wilderness Church, Dalai Lama Temple Complex, The War Memorial, Bhagsu Waterfall, Bhagsunath Temple, and Dal Lake.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at a Hotel in McLeodganj.

DAY 2 - DRIVE FROM CHITKUL TO TABO VIA NAKO DINNER & OVERNIGHT STAY IN TABO.

  • Wake up early, enjoy breakfast, and begin your journey to Spiti Valley.
  • Drive through the Ka Loops to reach Nako, Visit Nako lake & enjoy the beautiful view.
  • Arrive in Tabo by evening.
  • Check in to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 3 - BIR PARAGLIDING AND LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

  • Wake up early morning, and have breakfast at the hotel.
  • Depart for Bir via Palampur.
  • Arrive in Bir and go for Paragliding in Billing, Visit Bir Monastery
  • In the evening depart for Jibhi.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel in Jibhi.

DAY 4 - JIBHI SIGHTSEEING - DEPART FOR KASOL

  • Wake up, freshen up, and have breakfast
  • Visit Jibhi Waterfall
  • Visit Jalori PassTrek to Serolsar Lake, and 360-degree viewpoint.
  • Depart for Kasol
  • Dinner and overnight stay at camps in Kasol

DAY 5 - KASOL MARKET, CHALAL

  • Wake up, freshen up, and have breakfast
  • Visit Manikaran Gurudwara and Shiva Temple
  • Later hike to Chalal Village, relax, and spend time in leisure.
  • Later Visit Kasol Market and hop to some cafes
  • Dinner and overnight stay at camps in Kasol

DAY 6 - KULLU RIVER RAFTING, DEPART FOR MANALI

  • ake up, freshen up, and have breakfast
  • Drive to Kullu for River Rafting, and Shawl shopping.
  • After Rafting, proceed to Manali.
  • Visit Hidimba Mata Temple
  • Visit Old Manali Market
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel in Manali.

DAY 7 - SOLANG VALLEY - OLD MANALI

  • Wake up early morning today, as we head to the snow valley.
  • Visit Solang Valley, do adventure activities like Skiing, ATV riding, and ropeway to the top (excluded)
  • Visit Atal Tunnel, Sissu Valley, and Sissu Waterfall if officially open for tourists. (Depends on the weather condition, on extra cost)
  • Visit Mall Road
  • Overnight stay in Manali

DAY 8 - MANALI SIGHTSEEING - DEPART FOR DELHI

  • Wake up, freshen up, and have breakfast
  • Checkout from the Hotel by 11 AM
  • Later Trek to Jogini Waterfall, Visit Vashisht Temple, and Hot Water Spring
  • Later depart for Delhi in the evening.
  • Overnight journey to Delhi.

What safety measures are in place during local treks?
Your safety is our top priority. Each trek is led by certified trek leaders trained in first aid and emergency response. We carry a first-aid kit, emergency contacts, and ensure that the group stays together. If someone needs to drop out mid-trek, a trek leader or assistant will accompany them back safely.
 2.⁠ ⁠How do I know if a trek is suitable for me?
Every trek includes a difficulty level in the description—such as Easy, Beginner, or Moderate. Please choose a trek based on your fitness and comfort level. Reach out to us if you need help choosing!
 3.⁠ ⁠What kind of shoes should I wear?
Trekking shoes with good grip are highly recommended, especially during the monsoon season. On basic walking trails, you may wear sports shoes, but trekking shoes offer better comfort and safety.
 4.⁠ ⁠Are these treks crowd-free?
Yes! Most of our treks and camps are designed to be crowd-free. We select offbeat, premium locations and carefully plan itineraries to avoid rush hours and popular trails. You’ll enjoy nature in peace with minimal to zero crowd at most sites.
 5.⁠ ⁠Is Urban Trekkers registered under Maharashtra Tourism?
Yes, Urban Trekkers is a registered and certified entity under Maharashtra Tourism, complying with all safety and adventure tourism guidelines.
 6.⁠ ⁠Are your trek leaders certified?
Yes. Our trek leaders are certified by institutes like GGIM, HMI, or NIM, and most have completed first-aid training as well.
 7.⁠ ⁠Can I transfer my booking to someone else?
Yes, booking transfers are allowed. Just inform us at least 1 day before the trek departure so we can update our list and share the indemnity form accordingly.
 8.⁠ ⁠Can children join the trek?
Yes, children aged 8 and above are welcome on suitable treks. Please check the age recommendations in the specific trek description before enrolling your child.
 9.⁠ ⁠Are your treks suitable for solo travellers?
Yes, absolutely! Most of our treks are designed with solo travellers in mind. You’re welcome to join alone and connect with like-minded adventure seekers. It’s a great way to meet new people and explore together.
10.⁠ ⁠As a woman, can I join the trek alone? Is it safe?
Yes, girls and women can definitely travel solo. Our treks are safe and welcoming, with a strong focus on comfort and security. The gender ratio on most treks is balanced, usually around 60:40 or 50:50.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Urban Trekkers – Cancellation, Refund & Substitute Policy
For Local Treks
Refund Policy
•30+ days before the trek: 80% refund
•4–29 days before the trek: 50% refund
•Less than 3 days before the trek: No refund
Substitute Policy
•You may transfer your booking to another person by informing Urban Trekkers at least 1 day before the trek.
•Requests made on the day of the trek will not be accepted.
For Himalayan Treks
Retainable Voucher Policy (No cash refunds)
•More than 21 days before the trek: 100% retainable voucher
•7–21 days before the trek: 50% retainable voucher
•Less than 7 days before the trek: No voucher / no refund
Voucher Validity
•Himalayan trek vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of issue and can be used for any future Himalayan trek.
Substitute Policy
•You may nominate a substitute participant by informing Urban Trekkers at least 7 days before the trek.
•Substitution requests made within 7 days of departure will not be accepted.

Note

  • Access to high altitude regions of Spiti Valley, especially Hikkim, Komik, Langza Village and Pin Valley etc, may be congested during winter months due to extreme snowfall. Hence, the stopover to these locations is weather-dependent. In such a case, we will look for the best possible alternatives, as achievable.
  • Kindly take note that in the event of any act of God, such as heavy snowfall leading to road closures for heavy vehicles, it will be the responsibility of the travelers to arrange for a 4x4 vehicle, and the associated expenses will be borne by the travelers themselves. Capture A Trip bears no responsibility for any such acts of God or the associated expenses.
  • Travellers residing outside Delhi are recommended to book trains/flights reaching Delhi not delay than 4 PM on the trip start date. Similarly, on the trip end date, book the returning flight/ train departure post 2 PM respectively.
  • Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of participants etc. may cause itinerary change. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of safety, comfort and general wellbeing.
  • The age limit of our group departures is 16 to 42 years due to the power-packed itineraries that we provide for our travellers. We can customise trips for travellers beyond the mentioned age bracket.
