  • Personal Expenses: Customers should cover their own personal expenses, including tips for drivers, entrance fees to monuments/monasteries, and any additional activities (like river rafting or laundry).
  • Unexpected Costs Due to Natural Events: If any natural disasters (e.g., landslides, roadblocks) occur, any extra costs incurred would need to be paid directly by the customer.
  • Anything Not Listed in Inclusions: If something is not explicitly mentioned as being part of the package, it won’t be covered.

Travel Itinerary

DAY 0 - DEPART FROM DELHI BY 09:30 PM

  • We depart from Delhi around 9:30 PM in an AC Vehicle. (Know the true value of time; snatch, seize, and enjoy every moment of it.)
  • Pit stop for dinner at any decent roadside restaurant.

DAY 1 - DRIVE FROM SHIMLA TO THE LAST INDIAN VILLAGE, DINNER & OVERNIGHT STAY IN CHITKUL/RAKCHHAM

  • Drive through Kufri and Narkanda along the Indo-Tibetan Highway on your way to Chitkul.
  • Enter the Kinnaur Valley by crossing the Kinnaur Gate, a rock tunnel famously known as the Gateway to Kinnaur. This tunnel is located around 170 km from Shimla on the Shimla-Kaza road, also called the Hindustan-Tibet Road.
  • Explore the last Indian village before the China border and immerse yourself in the stunning white wonderland.
  • Arrive in Chitkul by evening.
  • Dinner and an overnight stay in Chitkul/Rakchham.

DAY 2 - DRIVE FROM CHITKUL TO TABO VIA NAKO DINNER & OVERNIGHT STAY IN TABO.

  • Wake up early, enjoy breakfast, and begin your journey to Spiti Valley.
  • Drive through the Ka Loops to reach Nako, Visit Nako lake & enjoy the beautiful view.
  • Arrive in Tabo by evening.
  • Check in to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 3 - VISIT TABO MONASTERY AND DHANKAR MONASTERY | OVERNIGHT STAY IN KAZA

  • Post breakfast, head out to experience the true beauty of Spiti valley - Tabo Monastery & Dhankar Monastery.
  • Further we drive towards Kaza.
  • Reach kaza by evening, Check-in and overnight stay in kaza.

DAY 4 - KAZA - KEY MONASTERY - CHICHAM BRIDGE– KOMIC – LANGZA - HIKKIM | OVERNIGHT STAY IN KAZA

  • Wake up early morning and have breakfast.
  • Later head out for the sightseeing of Spiti Valley.
  • Drive to the highest suspension bridge in Asia - The Chicham Bridge.
  • Visit Key Monastery – th world famous center for Buddhist learning located at the top of mountains.
  • Then we will visit Komic, world’s highest village connected by motorable roads.
  • Later we will ride to Hikkim and collect or send postcards from the world’s highest post office.
  • Later enjoy the serene sunset at Langza with a breathtaking landscape of a massive Buddha statue.
  • Come back to Kaza.
  • Have Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5 - START YOUR JOURNEY FROM KAZA TO CHANDRA TAAL LAKE | OVERNIGHT STAY IN NEAR CHANDRA TAAL

  • Wake up, have breakfast and check out.
  • Later depart for Chandra Taal Lake.
  • On the way , take a pit stop for snacks at Losar, the last village of Spiti Valley
  • Reach Chandra Taal by evening and check in camps.
  • Have dinner, Overnight stay under the gaze of Billion stars and the Milky way Galaxy.Note : Stay in Chandra Taal will be on Triple Sharing Basis Only. 

DAY 6 - DEPART FOR MANALI | OVERNIGHT STAY IN MANALI

  • Wake up with the happiness to take on such a journey.
  • Post breakfast check-out from the hotel and Pass through the iconic route of Atal Tunnel and some of the most scenic villages of Lahaul Valley.
  • Reach Manali, Check in to the hotel.
  • Dinner & Sleep Overnight.

DAY 7 - CHECK OUT FROM MANALI | DEPARTURE FROM MANALI TO DELHI

  • Wake up lazy and post breakfast you can head out for local sightseeing of Manali.
  • Later head-out for self-exploration of Manali - Like Vasishta Temple, Hadimba temple, The Mall road, Jogini Waterfall.
  • Depart for Delhi by evening.

Your safety is our top priority. Each trek is led by certified trek leaders trained in first aid and emergency response. We carry a first-aid kit, emergency contacts, and ensure that the group stays together. If someone needs to drop out mid-trek, a trek leader or assistant will accompany them back safely.

Every trek includes a difficulty level in the description—such as Easy, Beginner, or Moderate. Please choose a trek based on your fitness and comfort level. Reach out to us if you need help choosing!

Trekking shoes with good grip are highly recommended, especially during the monsoon season. On basic walking trails, you may wear sports shoes, but trekking shoes offer better comfort and safety.

Yes. Our trek leaders are certified by institutes like GGIM, HMI, or NIM, and most have completed first-aid training as well.

Yes, booking transfers are allowed. Just inform us at least 1 day before the trek departure so we can update our list and share the indemnity form accordingly.

Yes, children aged 8 and above are welcome on suitable treks. Please check the age recommendations in the specific trek description before enrolling your child.

Yes, absolutely! Most of our treks are designed with solo travellers in mind. You’re welcome to join alone and connect with like-minded adventure seekers. It’s a great way to meet new people and explore together.

Yes, girls and women can definitely travel solo. Our treks are safe and welcoming, with a strong focus on comfort and security. The gender ratio on most treks is balanced, usually around 60:40 or 50:50.

Refund Policy
•30+ days before the trek: 80% refund
•4–29 days before the trek: 50% refund
•Less than 3 days before the trek: No refund
Substitute Policy
•You may transfer your booking to another person by informing Urban Trekkers at least 1 day before the trek.
•Requests made on the day of the trek will not be accepted.
For Himalayan Treks
Retainable Voucher Policy (No cash refunds)
•More than 21 days before the trek: 100% retainable voucher
•7–21 days before the trek: 50% retainable voucher
•Less than 7 days before the trek: No voucher / no refund
Voucher Validity
•Himalayan trek vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of issue and can be used for any future Himalayan trek.
Substitute Policy
•You may nominate a substitute participant by informing Urban Trekkers at least 7 days before the trek.
•Substitution requests made within 7 days of departure will not be accepted.

Note

  • Access to high altitude regions of Spiti Valley, especially Hikkim, Komik, Langza Village and Pin Valley etc, may be congested during winter months due to extreme snowfall. Hence, the stopover to these locations is weather-dependent. In such a case, we will look for the best possible alternatives, as achievable.
  • Kindly take note that in the event of any act of God, such as heavy snowfall leading to road closures for heavy vehicles, it will be the responsibility of the travelers to arrange for a 4x4 vehicle, and the associated expenses will be borne by the travelers themselves. Capture A Trip bears no responsibility for any such acts of God or the associated expenses.
  • Travellers residing outside Delhi are recommended to book trains/flights reaching Delhi not delay than 4 PM on the trip start date. Similarly, on the trip end date, book the returning flight/ train departure post 2 PM respectively.
  • Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of participants etc. may cause itinerary change. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of safety, comfort and general wellbeing.
  • The age limit of our group departures is 16 to 42 years due to the power-packed itineraries that we provide for our travellers. We can customise trips for travellers beyond the mentioned age bracket.
